Reporting "Asre Khodro",According to sales data for October released by Chery China Headquarters in November 2016, Chery (Group) maintained rapid growth in October with sales of 76,385 units, up 58.4 percent year on year and up 13.9 percent month on month. In October, Chery remained China’s largest passenger vehicle exporter with exports of 9,217 units, up 64.8 percent year on year and up 23.4 percent month on month.
2016 is the first year of “Strategy 2.0″ and a year of sales explosion to Chery. The outstanding performance of “Arrizo” series and “Tiggo” series laid a solid foundation for Chery to achieve the goal of “Strategy 2.0″. Arrizo 5, New Tiggo 3 and Tiggo 7, three new models launched this year, all performed strongly in October and came out on top in respective segments. Arrizo 5, the first global model under Chery’s “Strategy 2.0″, has maintained monthly sales of over 10,000 units since its launch in March and achieved record sales of 16,504 units in October, up 11.3 percent month on month. Arrizo 5 has been launched in markets such as Chile, China, Iran and Peru, and been favored by overseas consumers for its outstanding quality and tremendous technical strength. Tiggo 7 launched in China on September 20, 2016 achieved sales of 7,138 units in October, up 36.7 percent month on month. New Tiggo 3 targeting young and fashionable consumers registered sales of 12,917 units in October, up 44.9 percent month on month and up 11.5 percent year on year. All these models grew steadily in October. Besides, the cumulative sales of Tiggo 5 had exceeded 10,000 units by October which saw the first anniversary of its launch in Iran. Tiggo 5 has been unanimously praised by Iranian consumers for its dynamic appearance, outstanding power and superb control.
Chery has exported products to over 80 countries and regions, established 10 overseas manufacturing plants as well as nearly 2,000 distribution and service networks abroad, and been China’s largest passenger vehicle exporter for 13 consecutive years. By late 2015, Chery had become the first Chinese automaker whose passenger vehicle output exceeded five million units and achieved cumulative exports of over 1.1 million units, accounting for 38 percent of China’s cumulative passenger vehicle exports. Chery has managed to deliver after-sales services wherever its products are exported.
With the deepening of its overseas operations and localization strategy, Chery will deliver better products and services to overseas consumers. The rise and sales records of “Arrizo” series and “Tiggo” series mark that Chery has entered a new fast-growing stage. Chery’s sales are expected to leap again next year which will see the 20th anniversary of Chery.
