Reporting "Asre khodro", the amount of import of agricultural tractors to the country in 2016 and the first six months of this year was based on the amount of tonnage of the customs site (in terms of tonne-to-number) 1,740 light and medium-sized vehicles and 480 heavy-duty tractors.
Accordingly, the volume of imports during the 18 months totaled 2,220 units, which is less than 10% compared to its production (22,400 units).
It is worth mentioning that in the case of heavy imported tractors, it was not possible to build domestically and import of other tractors was also based on tariffs and according to current laws of the country.
In the case of the production of heavy tractors In view of the internal and external market evaluation, domestic companies are planning in order to localized pollution.
Meanwhile, in order to support the caution of tractor construction in the current year, the increase production of dismantled parts in chapter 98 of export-import regulations has been acted from 30 to 50 percent.
