Renault Trucks appoints new president for Greater Middle East region

Reporting "Asre Khodro", He would be taking over from Lars-Erik Forsbergh, who will head Volvo truck operations in southeast Asia. Blaise was previously general manager and V-P of China for Sunwin Bus, a Volvo Group and SAIC joint venture, and has been working at Renault Trucks since 1999.
Blaise was appointed to this position by Christophe Martin, senior vice-president Renault Trucks International, in August 2016. Blaise is responsible for all Renault Trucks operations for both north and south markets in the greater Middle East region, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia.

With an educational background in engineering and business, 46-year-old Blaise joined Renault Trucks in 1999 and successively held the positions of managing director for Renault Trucks Dealer Subsidiaries Holding for Strasbourg (2006-2010) and Marseille (2010-2012).
Now based in the UAE, Blaise manages a total of 21 markets.
