Asrekhodro- The ABS domestic production contract in Iran will soon be signed between Renault Pars, a well known European supplier and an Iranian company.
Reporting "Asre Khyodro", At the next step, the partnership is expected to lead to the localization of EPS (advanced generation of safe brake system). The ABS and ESP brake line is set to launch in an Iranian company and will be operational within a year. The project will have three phases: the first phase is to complete assembling in 2018 and within the next two years, deeper localization will take place.
Technically, this is the most advanced piece of automobile that is internally engineered in Iran.
Currently, all Renault products in Iran include Tondar 90, Tondar 90 pick up, Sandro and Sandro step way,are facilitated from ABS brakes. For future Renault products in Iran, ESP brakes are also to be used, which will be both local parts, according to the upcoming project.
