Iran to double auto manufacture

Asre Khodro: A member of Board of Directors of Iranian Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association Mohammad Reza Najafi-Manesh said the country would double car production in ۲۰۱۴.

Reporting “Asre Khodro” quoted from ISNA, “The number of car manufacture in this year (started on March ۲۱) will total ۱.۳۰۰.۰۰۰,” he told ISNA.

Iran made ۷۰۰.۰۰۰ autos last year, he said, adding the largest Iranian state-run auto-maker (IKCO) will manufacture ۶۰۰.۰۰۰ ones, Saipa ۶۵۰.۰۰۰ and the remaining auto makers will make ۵۰.۰۰۰ ones this year.

Najafi-Manesh also expressed the hope that internal and external problems of the country’s auto industry would be removed soon.
