Reporting "Asre Khodro", the goal is to plan and fulfill the requirements, but the latest figures announced by the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade indicate that in the first five months of this year, automakers have not only failed to achieve the target, but also experienced negative growth in exports.
Quoted by Asrekhodro,
The drop in the export of automakers was planned by the ministry of industry, mining and commerce in order to increase in export earnings and as a result of improving the country's economic situation, to export $ 2.2 billion for the automotive industry in the "Automotive Strategic Plan" by the end of the year.
The requirement for foreign automakers also includes a precondition for the export of 30 percent of manufactured goods in the country, based on the planning made in foreign contracts, as one of the main requirements.
According to the ministry's statistics, the export of this sector during the mentioned period has dropped by more than 14% in weight and more than 27% in value terms.
Accordingly, automakers have to export $ 2.2 billion in 2017, $ 4.5 billion in 2021 exports, and in 2015, an export target of $ 15 billion.
The forecast is due to the fact with the lack of attractiveness of manufactured vehicles in the country on the one hand and the challenges posed by export markets of the region, on the other hand its realization, seems unlikely and the statistics announced by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and trade also indicate that at least for the current year, the goal of realization will be almost impossible.
