Repotring “Asre Khodro” quoted from Ikcopress, Mohammad Reza Motamed, IKCO Deputy CEO in Tondar production elaborated on the company’s program and said that IKCO also intends to produce five thousand Tondar pickups this year. Production of automatic Tondar is another program to be fulfilled in this period.
Tondar pickup passed preproduction phase on March and received quality certificates from Renault and IKCO. The pickup will roll off mass production line in June.
According to IKCO Deputy CEO, the company produced more than ۲۳۰ thousand Tondars last year which was a rise of ۶.۵ percent compared to the year before.
Motamed also added that ۱۵۰۰ automatic Tondars are ready to be dispatched to the market.
The Deputy CEO finally stated that ۱۳ parts of Tondar pickup are to be localized and supplied by SAPCO. This amount would increase gradually in future.
