Reporting “Asre Khodro” quoted from Ikcopress, he announced the revival of production in IKCO and expressed hope that the company’s new strategy would lead to export half of IKCO products to international markets in the next four years.
IKCO president and CEO further referred to supporting part makers as one of his management priorities and pointed out, “We have to help part makers to acquire design know-how and be able to satisfy carmakers needs without any help form foreign partners.
According to the new president and CEO, design and development a new platform suitable for Iran domestic market would be another important plan of the new management team.
Yekkeh Zareh added that some of IKCO’s current products would lose popularity in next few years and IKCO needs to design, develop and present modern and more up to date cars.
The introduction ceremony was held in Industrial Management Institute of Iran. Some of parliament’s members, public and private sector managers as well as automotive and parts manufacturing activists were participating in the ceremony. Prior to Yekkeh Zareh, Javad Najmeddin, the former president and CEO of the company elaborated on his performance during his management period.
