Gasoline consumption in Iran hits all-time record high

Asre Khodro: Gasoline consumption hit all-time record high of ۱۰۰.۷ million liters in Iran on April ۱.

Reporting “Asre Khodro” quoted from Tehran Times, Iranians consumed around ۱.۵ billion liters of gasoline during March ۱۸-April ۴, according to the Mehr News Agency.

Gasoline consumption was ۷۰ million liters per day on the average in the past Iranian calendar year, which ended on March ۲۰.
On March ۵, the director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said Iran will triple gasoline imports in the current Iranian calendar year as domestic petrochemical units have stopped gasoline production.
Mostafa Kashkouli added that ۱۰-۱۱ million liters of gasoline will be imported per day in the current year.
Over the past three years, ۸-۱۰ million liters of gasoline has been produced per day by the domestic petrochemical units, Kashkouli noted.
