Samand
Samand is an Iranian car brand manufactured by Iran Khodro (IKCO) using local manufacturers for its parts. In Persian, the name for a breed of fast horse. Samand trade name is now registered at the World Intellectual Property Organization.Samand is Iran’s first international car and shares platform with Peugeot ۴۰۵ . The Samand production project began in ۱۹۹۶ and the first car was sold in ۲۰۰۰.Its still being produced in Iran in two versions and new members of its family are called Soren and Dena . Samand Family uses national engine of iran which is called EF engines family . the most notable of the family is called EF۷ and produces about ۱۱۵ horsepowers using petrol . it also can run by CNG which is so popular among taxis in Iran .
Tiba
Tiba (Gazelle) is an Iranian car made by Saipa, that was unveiled in December ۲۰۰۸ as “Miniator”. The car was originally named “Miniator”, based on the “S۸۱” platform. In its production the services of some ۱۲۲ local manufacturers have been utilized and about ۸۱۰ parts have been produced.Tiba is powered by a ۴ cylinder ۸۰hp engine with a capacity of ۱.۵ litre. This engine has been modified mutually by Saipa and German FEV Company.Saipa has recently unveiled the Hatchback version as saipa ۲۱۱ .
Runna
Runna is the second of Iran Khodro and Iran’s ۳rd Iranian-designed passenger car. Code-named X۱۲ and based on the Peugeot ۲۰۶, the Runna is smaller than the IKCO Samand (X۷), Iran’s first domestic car. Runna is still being powered by Peugeot’s ۱.۶ engine (TU۵) .
Dena
IKCO Dena is a family car manufactured by Iran Khodro (IKCO) auto company; it was unveiled in April ۲۰۱۱.After ۳ years of pause finally in the first months of ۲۰۱۴ , costumers had a chance to sign up for Dena as the most advanced National Car of Iran . Dena is planned to enter the market with two engine including ۱.۷ liter EF۷ and ۱.۹ liter XUM .
