Dena set to hit Iranian markets

Asre Khodro: Iranian largest national car-maker (IKCO) CEO announced that the company's fourth locally-produced sedan would soon enter both domestic and international markets.

Reporting “Asre Khodro” quoted from ISNA, as the most luxurious car produced by Iran Khodro, Dena will be mass produced soon and by the end of this year, (started on March ۲۱), ۱۵۰۰۰ sets will hit the market,” said Hashem Yekehzare IKCO CEO.

He added, “We are also determined to export this car which is supposed to be produced in our sites abroad.”

Emphasizing that Dena is totally designed and developed by Iranian engineers based on national platform, Yekehzare declared, “Dena’s technical features meet national and international standards and the regular EF۷ engine is accompanied by a manual gearbox, however automatic Dena powered by the turbocharged EF۷ and XUM engines will be soon developed.”

“The design and development of body dies and body shop equipment which were fulfilled by Iranian experts brought about ۱۱ million dollars worth of exchange saving for Iran Khodro,” Yekehzare said.

All IKCO Dena parts meet quality standards and were provided by suppliers in IKCO supply chain, the CEO said, adding, “Quality is what matters the most in the design, development and production of Dena, taking into consideration our customers’ satisfaction
