Reporting "Asre Khodro", The JK has been on the line since ۲۰۰۶ and now there are solid evidences as pictures of a Wrangler test mule that is probably the new generation of Wrangler under road test to make the debut for ۲۰۱۸.

There has been various rumors about the new generation Wrangler such as the slightly sloped grill for the better aerodynamic and improvement of the Coefficient of Drag, totally new under body and suspension as a four wheel totally independent suspension system, an Inline ۴ Turbo engine and a Hybrid drivetrain available on demand.
What has been established so far from the spy shots of the Wrangler test mule is that the body design is totally the classic Jeep Wrangler style as in the JK design. The vehicle is perfectly covered but as appears there is no slope in the nose or the grill or if it is there the slope is so sheer not jeopardizing the jeep’s classic ۷ slot grill. The underbody shows the absolute negative answer to the four wheel totally independent suspension system as there are two solid live Dana axles under the Wrangler mule test. Needless to say the independent suspension system is a new and way modern suspension system dedicated to much more expensive SUVs but for a truck like the Wrangler as a real off roader and a rock crawler the solid live axle on coil springs suspension system is the most appropriate and the best in traction and response.
Based on FCA (Fiat-Chrysler Association) revised product plan next generation Wrangler will accommodate both a diesel and a hybrid powertrain. The new diesel powertrain will come at hand before ۲۰۲۲ and the hybrid one would be available after that. Nothing is official yet but it is expected that the ۲۴۰hp V۶ Turbo Diesel currently in use on Ram ۱۵۰۰ would be a candidate engine as well and it is not probable that FCA let go of the powerful yet economic V۶ Pentastar gasoline engine. Considerable improvements on the gearbox is expected as the Chrysler is trying to make sure that the ZF based ۸ speed gearbox will fit into the new generation Wrangler making an off road beast out of it yet suitable for everyday economic driving.
