According to Asr-e Khodro News Agency quoting ISNA, Majid Hedayat, Head of the Development and Renewal Organization (IDRO) in a meeting held today cited the above and added: By the end of the year ۱۳۸۸ (۲۰۰۹) Automobile Expansion Deed was verified by the Ministry of Industries and Mines and was afterwards presented. During the first four months of the last year, complementary measures were taken and supplementary by-laws were written in various domains in collaboration with IDRO.
Noting that according to this deed by the year ۱۴۰۴ (۲۰۱۵) horizon of Iran, ۳ million cars will be manufactured, he added: This is while until now the permit for the manufacture of approximately ۲ million sedan cars has been issued.
Referring to the the result of the plan of establishing industries in deprived regions, he said: According to the old regulations, developmental organizations in very deprived regions could invest in percentages lower than ۵۰ in cooperation with the private sector.
Stating that occasionally investors were not willing to invest over than ۵۰% in deprived regions, Hedayat mentioned: Due to this plan was not welcomed and thus we thought of amending it.
Afterwards and in the Plan of the year ۱۳۹۰ (۲۰۱۰) this Act was amended and we were authorized to invest over than ۵۰% in these regions. Nevertheless, in this phase, the process became a little complicated in the way that we had to ask for the government’s permission for every project.
Hedayat concluded: Ultimately last week the license for the establishment of a company in charge of development projects un ۷ provinces was issued and is now undergoing its practical phase.
