When all the relevant authorities and those in charge have unanimously taken opposing stance to this Act, this remains vague how it was passed in the first place. This might have been a typographical mistake altogether.
It is interesting to note that some of the MP’s who were present when this rule was recently passed in Majlis, have attributed it to the carelessness of the Environment Organization and claim that it had to follow up what was being presented to the parliament and then passed in the Parliament.
The question at hand is how such a law which has seen nothing but opposition from the part of the MP’s and the pertaining authorities, was presented and then passed by the Majlis?!
It must not be connived that the Environment Organization which is the main authority in the areas regarding preserving the nature and preventing contamination, is the first culprit as it had to scrutinize what Parliament was doing within its jurisdiction.
Apparently, it has been a new approach that when a law is passed, some become absolved, some lose their jobs, people suffer, everyone asserts they opposed it in the first place, some ask whether it has been passed at all, etc; as the famous saying goes, “Whose fault is it? Not mine?!”.
