According to Asr-e Khodro news agency referring from IK Co Press: Eng. Mir Javad Soleymani the deputy CEO of Iran Khodro quality and production development, with regards to this report said, based on Iran Khodro CNG, Diesel and Micro hybrid driving force experience, the contract for full Hybrid development technology has been signed between the Oil and Industry Ministries with the automobile manufacturing company. Furthermore, the concept selection process studies and operating execution have started.
With reference to the great importance of the Hybrid technology in the world major auto’s manufactures, he said, “The hybrid driving force is used in a number of world major car makers production process, and it is clear that, progress of this industry depends on the development technology in electric and electronic vehicles”.
Soleymani announced the cooperation with the universities and research centers and added their capability and potential will be forfeited in the fundamental studies relating to batteries, laboratory production and prototyping and then eventually for electric motor drive.
Deputy of Iran Khodro production quality added, the air pollution of the metropolitans such as Tehran and the damaging effect it might have on the cities’ residents. Moreover, he said that the environmental issues are the most prominent necessity of using the Hybrid technology in Iran and continued, ‘the significance of this technology forced the world governments to subsidize it.’
He affirmed, the Hybrid technology in the Micro Hybrid field has been already developed and produced in Iran Khodro, so that this experience had ultimately led to the proposal of the Hybrid technology development to be propounded by Iran Khodro’s industrial section.
Soleymani specified, based on Iran conditions, there will be an electric motor with an EF ۷-gasoiline engine which will be selected from the currently available technologies in the world.
